Am goin to new york in December, would like to go to a comedy club, been recommended 'carolines' and when we are goin he is on...anyone seen him? or is it better to book up for the 'new talent' the next day and is half the price?

I've never seen him, but I would book up for the new talent if it is half price. Either way you don't know how good the comedian is so if you only paid half price you won't feel so bad if they are not too good or you may be pleasantly surprised if they are good.

I saw him twice. He is good live. Just watch the stand up specials he has on Netflix. That's what you can expect. I probably wont see him if I have to pay more than 30 bucks tho. I don't get how people will pay 100 bucks to see a comedian, no matter how much they like them.
