I an not sure if you use the little disk or what !!! Do I have to sign up for a radio stations to get music on my computer and pay monthly, Do I make a list and how do i transfer it to acd or Ipod.

there are a few ways of doing this. you can copy songs from your cd collection to itunes then add them to your ipod. you can also download songs from the internet. the Ipod recommended way is to download songs from i tunes for a fee. some people use programs such as limewire (http://www.limewire.com/) where you can download songs for free. you simply search, download, drag and drop to itunes once they have downloaded.

The way I do it is; I put music on my computer, which goes into Window Media Player, from the web or from cd's that I have or borrow! Then you can use WMP, to transfer it to an MP3, or portable device, or a Lyra, which is what I have! I can also transfer music from my MP3 to my computer or WMP!
I use Yahoo Music to download music off the internet, but there are some free ones!
Once you have your music on WMP, there is a place on there where you compile a transfer or sync list, then when you have the list ready, you apply the transfer or sync to the portable device, and it shows you on there, what is placed there!

you can go to a website to upload from the site TO your PC & then download it to your iPod... OR you can insert a cd from YOUR cd collection 'of your favorite tunes' and upload it to your PC and then download it to your iPod .
you should have a music program on you pc where you can customize your own 'playlist'.
