The USA has done a lot of things over its short history, but I really do not believe that there was active genocide (trying to destroy a race) in its history. There have been many battles against different races and or countries and I am not saying that what happened with the Native Americans was correct, but I do not think it fits the definition of genocide.
As for Vietnam, again I do not believe that fighting an aggressor communist government is considered genocide. As for the other wars and battles, not genocide, maybe not morally correct or fought for political or self serving reasons, but not genocide.

Native Americans is probably the only true genocide. We have slaughtered many people but indescriminantly. Natives were systematically demonized, and slaughtered to a child. As far as Vitenam we tried to distingish into commies etc.
I do believe our CIA is in some measure directly responsible for the rise of the Kmer Rouge and thus the genocide in Cambodia.

assuming you advise the two Europeans and human beings of ecu descent.... particular, with the aid of a mix of intentional and unintended skill. The latter isn't an attempt to steer sparkling of duty, yet particularly to make sparkling that seventy 5-ninety% of Natives died from transatlantic ailments for which that they had no immunity. yet save on with-up efforts have been the two easily planned or rationalized, and meet any definition of genocide in play right this moment, whether it got here approximately over an prolonged quantity of time than different familiar genocides.

The early immigrants endure genocide from the Indians that ambushed innocent pilgrims/early settlers/immigrants. Many families were savagely killed and that means the entire families. On American soil there has been no genocide, caused by our Government. Huge wooden Forts had to be constructed to prevent further genocide from killing , entire large groups of White settlers. So my answer is NO !

It isn't genocide just because you lose.
American Indians refused to submit to a superior society and lost.
They did the same thing to the Anasazi.
The difference is, we attempted to protect the rights of the indigenous people. Native Americans can still live their traditional lives, if they wish.
Native Americans did not afford the Anasazi the same rights. They murdered, raped, enslaved and eliminated all of the people before them.
Now that they, themselves are faced with the loss of their lifestyle, it's suddenly unfair?

While certainly mistreated and lied to.. there was no genocide of American Indians. Genocide requires a planned and systematic extermination of a population.. that did not take place. What did take place was purely about land.
