I ask this since I saw a question earlier regarding The Replacements "Alex Chilton". Having to paint my window frames (ugh, what a crappy job), I pulled out Big Star's "Third / Sister Lovers" to listen to while working and remembered what a great album it is.

Hey Mach, I find a lot of stuff on here obscure as well. I'd never heard of Clinic before but checked it out online and definitely dug what I heard. Same goes with Prof introducing me to Band of Horses. It's all about sharing the knowledge.

Ted Nugent's "Free For All" album. Hadn't heard it in maybe 15 years, then I heard the song "Free For All" on the radio. Dug it out and listened to it. Forgot how good this band was. It's on my iPod now (along with a few other early Nugent albums).

Empty Glass by Pete Townshend.

I hadn't listened to it in quite a while, but I played it a couple days ago, and realized it isn't half bad! It's nowhere near as good as anything from The Who, (except maybe It's Hard) but it is a solid CD.

Kicking Giant's Alien I.D. resurfaced recently and just like every other time that happens I fall back in love with them all over again.

I also remembered a band that I had a CD of (Swans - Love of Life) but it was either stolen, sold, or borrowed and never returned. I am planning on replacing it with on of their Anthology releases very soon.

Yes, I bought Clinic's "Winchester Cathedral" two years ago, and it re-surfaced when I was Spring cleaning. I've been listening to it again, and it's taken on a different dynamic. Funny how some songs that you never cared to listen to, you might take a liking to now if you give them a chance.
