First: They still don't believe you, or don't want to.

Second: Your complaint probably demonstrated that they didn't follow the correct procedures for your discrimination case. That would put their butt in hot water with the state.

Third: If they then hire you back and make nice, then they can't be held liable for your Unemployment 'cause you're employed.

Fourth:If you refuse to come back, they'll tell the state and the Unemployment Office that you are a spoiled putz and even though they offered to fix it, you refused and so they shouldn't be liable for your cmplaint or YOUR UNEMPLOYMENT.

So: You been set up.

Get a Lawyer.

Now.

Perhaps they have been jolted tot he seriousness of your claims and want to do the right thing. Or perhaps this is a way of avoiding a law suit

What you do depends on how much you liked the job and whether you will have to deal with your former supervisor

Dan H may well be correct.

Tread very carefully if you choose to accept the offer and make sure that you understand all the terms.

I would recommend that you also consult with an attorney in employment law to make sure that you are not endangering any of your rights.
