My brother who is turning 14 is having a halloween party. He wants me to be the fortune teller for fun. Do you know any good websites for how to tell fortunes or do you know how to tell fortunes?

Simple forms of Tarot or Runes could be a good way to go. My husband does very very simple readings with a deck of cards. Basic deck that you use to play poker. Hearts are love, Spades are influence, clubs are luck and diamonds are fortune. Shuffle good, tell the person that whatever they are feeling/thinking in that moment is what the cards will represent... if they continue along the path they are thinking/asking about the cards represent the outcome.

If it is to be Halloween fun. Save some chicken bones and dry them in the oven. Paint them several colors and patterns. Spread a black cloth in front and after making weird noises and hums and shaking the bones throw them onto the cloth. Look at the bones for a moment, then either gasp, giggle, or look very seriously at the person you are reading for. Then tell them something you think appropriate to the mood you have created.

Get a pack of tarot cards that comes with a book you can do a 3 card spread instead of a 7 or 8 card spread . the 3 card spread is the Past Present and Future reaing,

I play around with tarot cards, you could make some tarot cards up and use them in your fortune telling, or get something to use as a crystal ball.

when we did that when i was young we just made things up as we went.
should be fun since you will probably know all if not most of the people there. just use what you know about them and their family, if you want be sneaky and ask their friends and family for little bits and pieces about the guest.

the oracle of the i ching is good. get three Penny's and look up what they mean when you throw them down.the person asks a question and the i ching will answer
