a/(a-7) - 10/(a+9) + (a-9)/(a^2+2a-63)
=a/(a-7) - 10/(a+9) +(a-9)/(a+9)(a-7)
=( a(a+9) - 10(a-7) + (a-9) )/((a+9)(a-7))
=(a^2 + 9a - 10a +70 + a - 9)/((a+9)(a-7))
=(a^2 +61)/((a+9)(a-7)

a / a-7 minus 10 / a+9 plus a-9 / a^2+2a-63

I think you mean

a/(a - 7) - 10/(a + 9) + (a - 9)/(a^2 + 2a - 63)

First, factor the trinomial

a/(a - 7) - 10/(a + 9) + (a - 9)/[(a + 9)(a - 7)]

LCD is (a - 7)(a + 9)

a(a + 9)/LDC - 10(a - 7)/LCD + (a - 9)/LCD

(a^2 + 9a - 10a + 70 + a - 9)/LCD

(a^2 - 61)/LCD

(a^2 - 61)/[(a - 7)(a + 9)]

I think you might have typed the problem wrong because I would expect to simplify more here
