Rumor has it that in the months before Enron's collapse, Bush, Cheney, and the much-gossiped-about "energy task force" convened daily, high-priority meetings to try and engineer a bailout for Bush's most generous campaign contributor.
(see link below)

The web site linked under source says, in part, "His document explains why Richard "Dick" Cheney would sooner chug a quart of 10W-40 than surrender the minutes of those energy meetings".

Many "conspiracy theory" authors and publishers, such as Robert Wilson and Disinfo, use proven conspiracies as evidence of what a secret plot can accomplish.

In doing so, they attempt to rebut the assumption that conspiracies don't exist, or that any "conspiracy theory" is necessarily false.

Existance of the Mafia, Operation Northwoods, Watergate & "dirty tricks" by "Tricky Dick" Nixon and the Pearl Harbor advance-knowledge theory, among others, were classic examples of conspiracy theories that were first doubted and then proven true.

Machiavelli stated in 'The Discourses on Livy' that conspiracies rarely achieve their objectives.

The reality of such conspiracies should caution against any casual dismissal of conspiracy theory.

A number of true or possibly true conspiracies theories have been proven, including the Business Plot to overthrow Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1933, various CIA involvements in overseas coups d'état, the Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the ***** Male, the General Motors streetcar conspiracy, and the plot by the British Secret Service to destabilize Prime Minister Harold Wilson.

There's always the big one....Watergate! Truthfully, all of it hasn't been solved to this day. A wife of one of the chief operatives was carrying $10,000 in cash and the plane went down. Her father spent years trying to prove that the Nixon bunch caused the crash, but no one ever listened to him. No one knows what happened to the $10,000, either.

Conspiracy theories. The JFK conspiracy "nuts" were laughed at and ridiculed. But facts later came out....through a motorcycle radio....that there were more than the publicized number of shots fired. We also know that Jack Ruby was no Kennedy fan, who insanely wreaked revenge on Oswald, as we were told. He was a Mafia thug with connections in Chicago and New Orleans. So who killed JFK? We'll probably never know, but I would stake my pitiful fortune on it not being Oswald alone.

It is a known fact that San Francisco has been sprayed with chemicals, that poor Blacks were infected with syphilis, that Fidel Castro was close to assassination, that the release of the hostages in Iran was timed...through secret negotiations...to be released after Reagan became president and NOT while Carter was still in office. While the public was counting days, they were extending those days for political reasons.

It is also fact that the CIA toyed with "mind games," trying to brainwash people into behavior that could be manipulated. These weird experiments have been used as plots in many well-known novels and there is a thread of truth running through them.

There is an similarly contentious (as to its system of operation) idea of gravity too, and thermodynamics, and so on, and so on. They would possibly certainly not be proved, that's a truth, they would is a idea. For the indisputable materials of nine/eleven idea to be proved might for a begin require their contemplation as reputable by means of the US govt who organised it with the cause of controlling the oil marketplace, ultimately. The majority of the men and women will come to a decision what they suppose in time, the query is how so much time. It took two hundred years to peer that white guys in essence stole America from Red guys (instead than liberated it) and an additional one hundred for a normal consensus at the slavery of black guys being fallacious, best theories then.

RE contra scandal, O North was in cahoots with Cheney & Rummie+other warmongers to do away with the Constitution and give Pres absolute power(good or bad their perogative I guess). Well if we have another well planned disaster(God forbid) the Constitution would be subverted, BlackwaterForces would aid in police state and 'enemy combatants'(lists being derived from Internet input probably) rounded up to reside in 800+ detention camps.

The citizens here are being distracted by celeb goings on, libs v cons and illegals while the adm has a short time to work out their next move.

note: we have helped overthrow 50 democratic Govts
