It depends how good of friends you are with the friend and how much you like the guy.
If for some reason, not saying its the case you feel like you love this guy you should go for it. Some guys don't just come and go, if you think this is the guy for you, choose the love of your life over a friend that is so wrapped up in herself to realize that he means more to you than she could ever imagine.
However, if this is just a crush and your friend is your BEST friend then it probably isn't worth hurting your friend.

A friend most definitely! Men (guys) come and go but friends are forever. Good luck in finding them. You'll know when you do.

a friend, because guys just comes and goes. and also friends but at least when your friends you still have ways to communicate. myspace, yahoo messenger.

well i have only ever liked one guy and know we are meant to be, so the guy... bc most of my friends are people that would drop me if that situatin came up...
it's your decision tho... do u see yourself marrying this guy... if not go with the friend...

depends. i would say friends
BUT. depends on if they were a good friend who i know was like family and a good person
or i would pick the guy if i valued him more.
