Under international law, isn't the occupying force (the U.S.) responsible for the defense of the occupied country (Iraq).

But as NATO allies, aren't the U.S. and Turkey forced to come to each other's aid?

The U.S. and Turkey won't fight each other. Turkey will fight the Kurds in northern Iraq where there is little American presence,
The fighting will last about a week or so until the Turks have firm control over northern Iraq,
Tthe US will negotiate a cease fire of sorts just before Turkey advances far enough to encounter American forces.
The US will allow Turkey to maintain a presence in the north to control the terroriost threat on their northern border.
Iran will be pissed,
Turkey won't care.

That's not going to happen. Besides Turkey has a Hugh Army. They are a big Country and formidable opponent. They're not anybody to mess with unless you want an all out war. Then you'll have a draft for sure.

Heres the end around and they have already proposed legislation to this effect:
Balkanize the region into 3. Give each sovereignty and occupy the ones that need "help getting democracy". Since the Kurds are the most stable we have already begun demilitarizing the area.

could the defense force of Mexico invade the U. S. to help pacify and regulate the gangs and familiar use of medicine it relatively is inflicting each and all the themes right here in Mexico. human beings and their police do not look waiting to do it, perhaps they want help from Mexico. without the U. S. sucking drugs up from the south, Mexico and different worldwide places might have extra money and aspects to fret approximately significant issues like faculties, roads, etc. perhaps the U. S. could take care of their very own errors and ills first. in basic terms a theory.

You are consistent. You get everything wrong. The US is a part of a coalition. The coalition would have to decide if they were willing to extend the war to Turkey.
The US is a sovereign nation. No one can force us to do anything we do not want to do.
Turkey and the US are allies...or they were until the left wing liberal loonies tried driving a wedge between the two by raising a stink about Armenia, over 90 years after the fact.

A actually thoughtful question, a first for you. Yes we would be required to and we would. But since Turkey won't that is a moot point.
