I don't. I mean, I know that religion is against it, and I am not knocking anyone's religion, but suicidal people have depression, a mental illness. If it is a sickness, how can a person be blamed for feeling so desperate, that he takes his own life? I don't know the right answer for this one, but if we euthanize animals to be humane, then how is it wrong for a person with cancer to want to end his life?

I am not going to say wether it's right or wrong . I will say this I feel a sense of loss when a suicide occurs. The closer to home the more I even feel a sense of guilt , like I should've been more aware of the conflict within the person that caused the desperate act of suicide.

Yes because there are positive ways to resolve your feelings
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem
After my ex left me and I felt like my life was falling apart, I thought about suicide. But I never found the courage to actually do it. I guess someone wants me on this earth.
There's a saying that holds true for me and suicide survivors: It takes more courage to live than to die.
If people have enough courage to live they won't commit suicide.

I think it is sad and a terrible waste. I really believe God put each of us here to make the world a better place and we are needed. I also think that when a life is lost in this way all those who cared about the lost one are hurt. I think life is a gift. Life can be hard and even heartbreaking but, I don't believe it is ours to toss away. I would never condemn anyone for being so sad, lost, hurt... that they killed themselves, but I do think it is not a good choice.

I do wonder about the impact on the consciousness when one dies... Can't say whether it is right or wrong.
The reasons for suicide needs to be known first. A terminally ill cancer patient that has not long to live, then I will support it if it is his/her choice. Why live in pain if you will never get better?
Someone who wants to off himself/herself because there is a fear of living, then no. Can't support one who offs oneself because they blame everyone else for their problems and failing to realize that they are the root cause of the troubles they have.
And those that off themselves because of some terrible wrong they did to others? Granted, at times, it is much harder to apologize and atone for one's actions than to kill oneself. But what is the reason for taking the coward's way out? This is one I may never understad.
"Suicides don't kill people, just themselves...unless it is a mass suicde..."

Well, it's not right, that's for sure.
As a person who has attempted before, I understand the desire to want to end one's life.
I am glad to be living though. As bad as it is, I still wanna hang around and see how it all turns out in the end.

If we're talking about that of a third party, I don't know. It's a choice for that person and that person alone to make based on their particular circumstances. I don't believe there's a blanket rule that could apply here.
