They play one big non conference game each year. When washington was shceduled, they had just won the national championship. Last two years they played Texas, and next year they play USC. There are only 2 or three teams that play more than one big game non conference.
They are a better team than they were last year, I would have them at number 1, or cal, either way, they control their own destiny now.

Nope!
You actually have to schedule some half way decent teams to be ranked number 1.
Akron, Youngstown St., Kent St.?
Is that the best Ohio St. can do?
What's next Columbus Central High School?
Cleveland Junior High?
Its the same knock that was against Kansas St. (when they were decent), they only schedule powder puffs for non-conference games.
Play somebody and we'll see.

They are the only one that shows me anything right now.
And over the next 8 years OSU plays home and home series with:
USC
Oklahoma
Cal
and another high-powered team, can't remember who though.
GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!

No, if LSU loses, it will be Cal.
And no way that Michigan beats them this year.
