THEY ARE CALLED BLOOD DIAMONDS BECAUSE OF ALL THE BLOOD SHED TO OBTAIN THEM. THEY ARE ILLEGAL AND THE DIAMOND COMBINE WANTS THEM STOPPED BECAUSE THEIR SALE MAKES THE PRICE TO GO DOWN.
