Lloyd Carr is a great college football coach, who just got off to a bad start.

Alll the Legends go through there hills and mountians, lucky for Michigan, It was early in the year.

And that my friends, is the time you want to lose, if you are going to lose at all. (Just not to App. State)

no. he has the talent on the team to make a solid bowl game. If you can't get that talent ready for early games against oregon and appalachian, you shouldnt be the coach. Those games cost them a chance of playing for a national championship and probably even a bcs game (unless there are tons of other major upsets). he should have been fired after those 2 but because of his good track record, they couldnt. he is a great scout of talent but a terrible coach. With the talent hes had on his teams, he should have won more than 1 national championship and should be in contention every year.

Why does he deserve praise for winning games that he should win? Before the season started, you'd expect them to be undefeated to this point with a possible loss only to Penn.

Good team + terrible coach = unranked team

He's done a good job but I feel that It's tome for some new blood at the BIG HOUSE. They should hire the Def Coordinator as the new head coach. Carr did bring tem a championship in 97 but what else.

yes, Carr has been hounded for the past few years. A team can not win all the time. Sure some teams have a better winning record but Michigan's academic are higher then some of the better teams. I believe that academics are more important than having a winning team.
