It seemed to me that everyone was paranoid about this but I have never heard of this actually happening. Have you? It seems to me it was done by paranoid, concerned parents who fabricated isolated incidents to a broad scale.

I also belive it to be a totally fabricated story. NBC had a news story last year at this time about how it was untrue.

Razors are really expensive...If someone wanted to harm children, I don't think they'd do that. They would add some kind of poison or something rather than a razor. Candy that has been previously opened is quite apparent.

no it was in the news it really happen also was in the news paper always check the candy and apples or what ever is brought in if you let the children out -mine will not be going out anything candy or sweet I'll be giving it to be on the safe side people now days are cruel so why take a chance

ONE incident is enough for me. We actually used to have our candy X-rayed to make sure it had nothing in it. NOW we just buy our son his favorite candy and only trick or treat at homes we KNOW who lives there. Better safe than sorry in our opinion.
