This was a completly unacceptable event. These so called "Animal Control Agents" should be punished for animal cruelty to the extent the laws allow. What gets me is they are really trying to deny they did it despite the fact there are witnesses who were in no other way involved.
(for those that couldn't make out the picture the most white area of a deceased dog the area was covered with lime to help with odor control after these poor defenseless family pets were massacred)

I really can't believe they would kill pets like that and then deny and try to cover it up! They even injected some of the animals as they were taking them lying to their owners saying that it was just a sedative!
""I have the dead dogs in my facility," he said Saturday. "I am a certified animal control officer. I have been doing this for nine years."" Even though they saw the people throwing the animals off the bridge and saw the dead animals below the bridge.
I really hope those animal control officers pay for what they have done and not just by being fired. That was a horribly cruel thing to do. Some of the animals even survived the fall with broken spines/legs. I really can not even imagine what kind of people that did this and to lie about it.
I would seriously rather be evicted and find another place than to have someone take my cat.
