I was watching it at home live. yes, I started disliking and mistrusting Muslims then. Still dislike them as a group although I acknowledge there might be a few semi decent ones.

I am from Canada, I was in my kitchen with my neighbour until another friend phoned me and yelled at me to turn on the tv. I was horrified as we watched the second plane hit the tower as it happened....My words to my neighbour....OMG this is WAR!
I remember visiting the WTC when I was in grade 10 I was so upset I never had my camera with me at the time, but now I have a picture of the WTC Towers that was taken about 5 days before the attack. This picture is on a main wall for all to see. Don't think I slept for days.... MISS THEM

I was in school, 3rd grade. I'm in 9th grade now. I was surprised, because during the whole day, classmates kept getting taken home. By the end of the day, our class was very small. When I got home, my parents were in front of the T.V., and the same thing was on every channel.

And so I learned a new word that very day: terrorism. A new time started, and we entered the next phase of history. How do you think this phase will end?

I was at work .. there was nothing on the radio about it - one worker called in late cause she was watching it at home.. we didnt beleive it... she called in again when the towers actually fell.. then finally came to work...

did it change my opinion? well in the days following I heard SOOOOoo many Americans say "its because they are jealous".. I was sick of it.. I mean we got a TV show showing the "terrorist" side and it had NOTHING to do wiht Jealousy - they were saying it was because they wanted USA out of the Palastine conflict...

I know somebody who lost there job when they cheered... funny USA is supposed to be about freedom yet you fire somebody for an opinion...
interesting the Terrorist video I saw, WASNT allowed to be shown on US Television...

ya and now most people believie Bush was behind it too... I can see how that could be possible as well

I watched the second impact at home (West Coast) while getting ready for work... then went on to work.

I wondered if I'd be brought back to the Navy, as I'd just gotten out in Oct of 1999.

I was at home in Nevada, praying that two people I knew were not on American Airlines Flight 77 (the plane which struck the Pentagon). I was wrong. They both died. That is the limit of my participation in this emotional voyeurism.
