I dont know if any of these guys can actually be considered fat, but the heaviest guys currently in the NHL are Raitis Ivanans at 263, Derek Boogaard at 258, and Zdeno Chara at 255.

Just because they weigh a ton, doesn't mean they're fat. Maybe your question should have been a question of the BMI (body mass index)....where they measure the weight against a person's height.
I suppose it's a good question....who weighs the most. It could be all muscle though.

No question, Brad Park.
kThat is going back quite a few years but the guy was a butterball.
However, back in those days conditioning wasn't taken as seriously as it is today. Back in the 60's early 70's they took the summer off and played their way into shape at training camp. Just look at how many players smoked in those days.
Anyway, Park was a butterball and looked it, however, he was a very good player and one can only imagine how good he could have been if he had been in shape,.

Rich Pilon was far from fat - only 200-215 lbs
The heaviest NHL player in history is Derek Boogaard at 270 lbs

I don't think you'll find a 'fat' hockey player now a days. To find someone who could be considered 'fat' I think you would need to go back in history and take a look at some of the older goalies. Gump Worsely wasn't svelte by any means, but even then..not so sure if 'fat' could be applied.

Rob Brown of the 80's Pens was the only guy I can recall with a somewhat pronounced paunch.
He was still a pretty good goal scorer but, then again, he had the benefit of wheeling on Mario's wing.

Boogard right now no doubt. I mean on top of that do you want to get in a fight with him? i dont think so. Last year i think he broke a guys jaw and knocked another guy out in the same game! thats scary

I don't know about total weight but Rich Pilon was a tubby douche who played defense for the isles a few years back

I don't know his exact weight, but that Ward guy (Aaron Ward?) for the Rangers looks pretty chubby whenever I see him doing interviews.
