We pay so many bloody taxes in this country, yet receive so little. Schools no longer have the funding to continue offering "free" education. I have to pay to go to school and it is a government run school. The equipment in the schools are so old a lot of it isn't even usable anymore. Our school is falling down. There are rooms in my high school that are deemed "unsafe" now.
other then that, our hospitals suck, our roads suck, anything government funded sucks badly. Also, in Canada, we learned in school that the constitution says that all Canadians have the right to an education. Well why is it that I have to pay to go to High School and Post-Secondary?
What is wrong with our government?!

from my understanding that is precisly what taxes are all about, keeping you poor and struggling. the last thing governments want of it's citizens is being educated and wealthy.
most of the taxes are not needed to fund government, it is to pay the bankers on money borrowed which they should of never had to borrow but couldmake their own money.
in this country anyhow, the congress can coin money and determine the value thereof of gold and silver nothing else. it was debt free, hence they commited treason when they incorporated the fed reserve here, my guess it is the same there.

The taxes paid by the people are spent in projects not beneficial to them and it is the cause of the struggle.
