It does depend on your doc.. but both of my girls started baby oatmeal right around 4 months. I would wait on juice. There is really no reason your baby needs juice. Juice just gives them empty calories. My oldest daughter never even tried juice until after a year old. Why give them junk when they don't need it?

4 months for bottlefed and 6 for breastfed. Don't rush those things over fresh pureed fruits/veg. Water down juice. Make sure you follow up-to-date advice as this has been ignored in the past by older moms. Digestive system isn't matured until 6 months... but at 4 months formula feeders can handle it as their bodies are used to struggling to digest food.

Talk to your own baby's doctor. Some say 4 months, some wait until 6 months. It depends on where your child's development is at. My son's doctor starts her patients on cereal at 4 months unless they are preemies. My son was 2 3/4 months early so she had me wait until he was 6 months.

I would first ask your doctor, but usually cereal can be mixed half formula and half cereal at as young as 2 1/2 months. Still from the bottle of course, just use a fast flow nipple because of consistancy. And juice can be given at about 4 months, but it needs to be watered down heavily.
