(3x/7)-3=6
add 3 to both sides
(3x/7)-3+3=6+3
3x/7=9 (-3+3=0)
3x=7/1x9
3x=7x9
3x=63 (divide both sides with3)
3x/3=63/3
x=63/3
x=21
look
if you have 3x/7 on the left side which is = 3x times 1/7 when you move the 1/7 on the right site it becomes 7/1
so you leave 3x on the left and move the 1/7 on the right which becomes 7, now you have 3x=7x9

3x/7=9 (for the 9, add a 1 so you can "cross-multiply")
so it would be 3x/7 = 9/1
Then it would be 3x = 63, so x would be 21.
