Armenians: Im confused..what else is needed for the Bill to be official?

What else needs to be done for the Armenian genocide bill to be completely official? Is there anything else we can do? Or is it out of our hands now?

Im always checking the ANCA website for updates..but I'm wondering whats next....is Nancy Pelosi the final decision maker?... Do you think it will pass? What else can we do to help???

"Pobept" and everyone else: I'm sorry if you think this is some kind of conspiracy by the Democrats to end the war in Iraq...but this has been something the Armenian-American community has been lobbying about for decades...it is not new to us..and it certainly has nothing to do with the war in Iraq. We just want recognition of an injustice.

up in front of the house of rep.
for a vote, but that is just a formality
it already has enough votes to pass.
Don't worry its a done deal.
It is guaranteed to get to the floor for the vote this time
opposed to several years of being
ignored. It is a great victory for all.

It has to go from the committee that passed it and be voted on by the full House. A companion bill must be passed by the Senate. The 2 houses have to have a committee meet to agree on the exact bill if there are differences.Both houses have to vote on the combined bill. Bush has to sign it. He's already said he won't since making nice with Turkey is important for his stupid war.
