After hundreds and hundreds of years of the "flag waving" tradition across the globe, from one civization to the next, why does Obama (who wants to be America`s next President) think he has it right, hiding the stars and stripes (his lapel) instead of flaunting it ??? Has mankind got it wrong all of these years ? What do you think ?

people act like waving the flag is the only way to be patriotic. waving a flag is just a symbol. being patriotic through actions is true patriotism.

I remember that people would stand when the colors were presented. Now the only people I see doing it are my fellow veterans. I still stand when my flag is presented.
