How ironic that would be, eh?
No, I doubt the state of Israel has adopted a "Nazi" mentality but have seemed to adopted some of their methods in dealing with "subversives," such as invading sovereign nations on questionable grounds (Lebanon, Syria) and displacing Palestinians, forcing them into refugee camps in the manner that the Nazis forced out European Jews from their homes into ghettos.

Effectively that's what surprises everyone in this world:I mean people who read, think ,analyse and speak logically not those who just listen then repeat like poirrot. We know that normally a person who suffers or sufferred from an illness, injustice, bad behaviour ,lack of freedom or lack of rights at a certain time in his or her life,or threat is a kind, generous, helpful and tolerant person since he or she tried or was a victim of fanatism ,hatred, lack of one's precise country and even the right to live on Earth .It is normally a person who never takes revenge of others,if this latter behaves differently it means that this person is really as racist, sionist and fanatic as Hitler especially when we watch all the lives losses and injuried people in Gazza today.Look at the sophisticated weapons they are using against helpless, hungry and disabled people. These people are harmless ,didn't you see those little poor babies shot directly in the heart or the head?Could they harm anyone?America wants to overcome its economic crisis to remain always the first and the stupid countries are buying arms to kill each other. If The Israeli people don't react against the unbearable and incredible criminality holocaust ,I doubt about what happened to them in Germany ,I would think there were some of them who were against themselves so they decided about their death ,the same as they are doing to the Palestinians though what's happening today is thousands of times more than what happened to them.Peace needs too much maturity and deep thinking before taking a gun and eliminating nature, yes the Human being life is nature that God created and only God has the right to omit it and no one else.

Hello purplepeace59 / Anon-hypen,
I refer to your question / so-called "best" answer:
Contributor anonymous-hyphen (whose answer was given "best"), writes:
"... displacing Palestinians, forcing them into refugee camps":
My response:
Israel was not responsible for any such alleged "displacement". The 1948 war was the Arabs war to ethnically-cleanse the Jewish People from the Jewish People's ancestral homeland of Israel. Some Arabs became war-displaced or war-refugees, as did Jews from Arab lands. Other Arabs voluntarily left on advice given to them by Arab propaganda at the time, that the re-established Jewish state would soon be destroyed.
Since then the Palestinians have a unique and false refugee status due to the 21 Arab states block-vote at the United Nations, plus further votes from other Islamic countries, and the influence of Arab oil money.
The Palestinians find it convenient to mislead the world about their true status, by calling many of their towns as: "refugee camps".
I therefore hope that the following information will further clarify this:
Refugees are a sad characteristic of any war.
When the Arab nations attacked the re-established Jewish State of Israel in 1948 with the intention of ethnically-cleansing the Jews from the Jewish People’s ancestral homeland of Israel, but lost the war, some Arab Palestinians were made refugees; just as there were caused at the same time also Jewish refugees from Arab countries.
There is no evidence Israel deliberately caused Arab Palestinians to leave, but rather the latter were under the impression (encouraged by Arab propaganda of the time) that they could return (rather quickly as they assumed) once the new state had been destroyed.
As an attempt at "land for peace" Israel granted the Palestinians autonomy of the West Bank and Gaza anticipating a peace treaty. Thus the Palestinians have two territories (or colonies, on soil of the former Judean / Israelite kingdoms) which the Palestinians run themselves with their own military and police.
Subsequently, the Palestinians:
> Refuse to negotiate any peace treaty.
> Claim the whole of Israel.
> Consider themselves at war with Israel.
> Attack Israeli Jewish civilians as policy.
Despite having the above two territories, the Palestinians:
> Continue to claim an illogical “refugee” status
> And also call many of their towns “refugee camps”:
Reasons for this are:
The Palestinians have a unique and false refugee status due to Arab domination of the United Nations:
> The Palestinians have obtained an illogical, unique, and false refugee status at the U.N., due to the 21 votes of Arab countries, plus more votes of other Islamic countries, plus the influence of Arab oil money:
https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100215193800AArdJkd
> The Palestinians wish to mislead the world about their true status.
> The Palestinians claim Israel.
In England a child can inherit a title from its parents and so become a "Lord" or "Lady". In like manner the pro-Arab U.N. allows Palestinians to inherit "refugee" status; a concept allowed in no other refugee situation.
Regarding the Asker's falsehood-slur against Israel regarding the Nazis, I hope the following will assist the reader:
The Palestinian aggression is based on ethnic-hatred of Jewish people; and due also to territorial ambitions, the Palestinians seek to ethnically-cleanse the Jewish People from the Jewish People's ancestral homeland of Israel.
The Palestinians cynically term their anti-Jewish hate-war:
“uprising”, “defence”, "struggle", and also "resistance":
The essential Arab racist opposition to the re-establishment of the Jewish homeland (as the State of Israel), is clear.
Consider if there would be such a dispute, were Israel Muslim rather than Jewish.
Israel is the only Jewish state in a region dominated by Islam.
The Palestinian aggression is based on ethnic-hatred of Jewish people.

Palestinian ethnic-hatred of Jewish people has not changed since the Palestinian support of the Nazis in the second world war. Due to ethnic-hatred of Jewish people and also territorial ambitions, the Palestinian education system in the Palestinian Territories practices mind-abuse, teaching:
> Hatred of Jewish people,
> a false victim-mentality,
> that Israel does not exist.
> and similar to the propaganda of Nazi Germany, that the Jew is the (fake) cause of all Palestinian alleged issues:

The Palestinian Education Authority in the Palestinian Territories teaches Holocaust-Denial and admiration of the Nazis:
http://palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=655
The “Palestinian National Charter” seeks the expulsion of all Jews from the land of Israel:
http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/plocov.asp
Pro-Palestinian contributors offer racist answers falsely claiming that the Jewish People are not linked to their Judean / Israelite heritage. The reason is to dishonestly evade the Holy Quran’s recognition that the Land of Israel was given by Allah / God to the Jewish People (Holy Quran: Sura “Al-Maaida” 5:21); so that they can perpetrate a hoax that Jewish Israelis are foreign invaders, and so attempt to justify taking the land!
Such Pro-Palestinian contributors then also go on to falsely claim that the Palestinians are allegedly the “real-Jews”.
For all these fantasies they provide no evidence.
If the Palestinians seek to claim to be Jewish, this could be a problem for them since their “Palestinian National Charter” seeks the expulsion of all Jews from the land of Israel (see link above).
Also, if the Palestinians seek to claim kinship, they might want to cease daily targeting Israeli Jewish civilians as policy:
Palestinians get paid to murder Israeli Jewish civilians:

Anyone seriously interested in this should take the time to research the following:
Over the past 20 years 1000s of Palestinian children have been shot by Israeli troops. A few years ago I argued in a political forum that Israeli troops were killing children deliberately
The deaths run into 1000s , I have no up to date figures but about 2 years ago news items showed at least 2500 children killed over recent years. The problem is the WAY they were killed. No "crossfire" no "mistakes" that they were "suicide bombers", the deaths were so professional, through the heart, the head the chest in professional Military style. No they were not "accidents” or "cross fire". One was actually in the window of his home with his mother. I myself noticed the killings often coincided with major news items with the result that they were not reported much by the international media. They have killed several 1000 children and because they did it over several years it cannot be called a massacre.
Golda Meyer's words should be studied carefully and they are as follows, or words to this effect:
"They (the Palestinians) will give us our way when they value their children more than they value their land"
Serious researchers should verify my statement here and contact the media and an organisation called Al Hewar and also the Israeli government for information.

The Israelis behave towards the Palestinians like how the Nazis behaved towards the people of occupied France, Hungary, Denmark, Norway and peoples of other nations that they conquered. They'll punish whole villages for one person's armed resistance. Look what they did to all of Lebanon! In the past it they would use any kind of resistance, peaceful or armed, as an excuse to get execute Palestinians, expel them and confiscate their land. Likewise, the Nazis expelled Jews and confiscated their property. In the occupied territories, torture, detention without trial, giving Israelis a free hand to murder Palestinians with impunity, certainly are Nazi-like behavior.
They have a lot of racism towards the Palestinians although they will deny it. Ben Gurion, Israel's founding father, frequently used the term "cleaning up" to describe getting rid of Palestinians from what became Israel - that is, the Palestinians were impurities to be eliminated from the state. Most of the people expelled or massacred were innocent villagers who weren't going out and attacking Jews. The Zionist founders of Israel didn't believe that Palestinians were full human beings with equal rights.
Israel hasn't set up death factories, the Israelis aren't behaving towards the Palestinians anything close to the scale of how the Nazis behaved towards those they considered deviant, such as Jews. However, they hold strategy sessions to discuss how to limit Palestinian birth rate because they consider Palestinians by their existence to be a threat to the Jewish nature of the state of Israel. As, I guess, on a larger scale the Nazis considered Jews to be a threat to the Aryan nature of Germany, impurities to be eliminated. At the same Zionists try at all costs to present Israel as a democracy with equal rights for all and a "light unto nations," so they avoid most (but not all) large-scale outright atrocities.
Gaza certainly looks like an open-air concentration camp, where hunger and malnutrition are widespread because of the siege Israel has imposed. Israel is causing mass numbers of people to go hungry in order to force the Gaza leadership to accept Israel's "right to exist" - bear in mind, Gaza is under Israeli occupation, and most of its people are refugees from the massacres upon which Israel was founded.

Israel could easily invade the Palestinian areas, round everyone up, and gas them all. It doesn't. Israel is a democracy and 75% of it's population are Jewish. If the Israeli government made decisions that were way out of line with Judaism then the populace would be unhappy and would vote the government out.
Judaism contains such teachings as:
"What is painful to you, do not do unto others".
"The first question asked at the Last Judgment is whether one has dealt justly with his neighbor"
However:
The nazi attitude towards the Jews was full of hatred and murderousness. It follows that the complete opposite of that nazi attitude is to be full of compassion and consideration. Are the Jews full of compassion for the Palestinians? I don't know.

Blah, blah, blah....the Jews are "God's Chosen people"? They sure don't act like it. Considering what they went through, one would think the Jews would be the most compassionate people on the face of the earth. Sadly, nothing could be further from the truth.
Yada yada yada..."The Palestinians turned down the land they were offered". Why the hell wouldn't they? Before the UN stepped in, it was ALL theirs, and the Palis were offered a mere half of what formerly was theirs entirely. How generous. I liken it to people from Ohio coming here to Michigan and telling us, "Sorry, but half of your state is our now...the rest of you, get out."
B!tch, p!ss, moan..."Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East." What the hell's the use of a democracy that keeps electing warmogers like Sharon and his ilk?
So, Purple, I'm in complete agreement with you. Perhaps it's like the child who was beaten, growing up himself to be a child-beater. But the cycle must stop somewhere. Perhaps the collective Israeli government would benefit from counseling.
Misty---HI GF! :) You know, that's one of the things that impressed me when I was in Ireland...the way the Irish stand up for the Palestinians! But then the Irish know a thing a two about occupation!
Edit: Steven, grow UP, little boy. The Palestinians have lived in what is now Israel for thousands of years; on the other hand, nearly every single occupant of Israel has either European or American origins. (Open up your ears and listen to them when they're interviewed on television, for Christ's sake...a NY accent is a dime a dozen in Israel.) Now, little boy, you tell ME who has first claim on that land. And get off mommy's computer; it's past your bedtime.

Yes.Palestine is like a huge concentration camp and Israel should be ashamed.
Edit: Hi Gypsy, yes the Irish are very much behind the plight of the Palestinian. My son visited Palestine recently and was appalled at the way they are treated by the Israeli government. He noted though in fairness that not all Israelis agree with it either. What really gets my goat is Israel trying to paint the victim as the aggressor!
