i am debating the death penalty next week. i am trying to find more information over jean jacques rousseau and his philosophy of social contract. does anyone know a good website that has good information on this?

You can try coursenotes.org, I think they have a European History section. The thing about Rousseau is that he changed his philosophy entirely at one point. His entire teories on Social Contract and State of Nature changed, so you'll want to be careful about that.
