they're both gorgeous in their own way. sunset is a time for winding down and sitting outside while watching. sunrise is perfect for watching the light shine through the windows. i think i prefer sunrise, especially when i have to be an altar server at the 7:00am mass. the stained glass windows create even more beauty at that first ray of light.
i especially like them in winter against all that frozen snow...

Sunrise happens too quickly, you'll miss it if you blink.
You can capture every single second of sundown, its beautiful.
