If you want to but keep in mind you will have to control their usage of it and the games cost anywhere from $25 to $60 each and they will probably want the PlayStation4 when it comes out

A good tradition or rule that my parents held to for Christmas when I was young, especially since I have 3 siblings, is that we each received one big or expensive present and then the rest smaller presents. Each child received one thing that they absolutely wanted and we did get more things on our list but not everything.
Playstation 3 and a few games would be the big present and then you may want to get them some smaller presents. I have to honestly say that although we didn't get everything wanted because my parents couldn't afford it, we were never disappointed and we were never spoiled.
Blessings!
Kerri

if you can afford it and they would appreciate it, why not. make sure they know it's a present for ALL of them and get them a few accessories and games to go along with it.
xxl, my children have 3 gaming systems, xbox360, wii and nintendo ds's. neither are overweight..far from it in fact. they do go outside and play. they're both very active in school sports. if you look at the studies on video games, they are actually beneficial to a child and their development. it's like everything else in life...everything in moderation

Nah, don't spoil them with it. Make them earn it like, trading chores for allowance, mow the lawn around the neighbourhood etc. Buy them something else, or as a motivation, just buy them the game software itself as present, so that they will work hard to buy P3 in order to play. It's no fun and surprise when they already know what they're getting.

If you have the income to buy one and you think they deserve one, then by all means, get it for them.
But if you'd like to join in on the video game playing, try to get a Wii if you can find one as that's something the whole family can enjoy.

it depends on how the child behaves.they should get good grades because the game is expensive. they also should be physically active. if they dont exercise, they will become lazy because they re so used to playing a game all day
