I'm just wondering, because I never see the word "charismatic" being used to describe females. That's not to say there aren't any charismatic females.

To me someone who is charismatic, is someone who has a very welcoming and kind personality... someone who is not at all intimidating and who is never cynical. I imagine Dolly Parton to be a charismatic person.
Ellen Degeneres has shown some sarcasm, but it's always in good taste, and never at anyone's expense ... so I guess she can also fall under that category :)

and kick myself for NOT having them
come to me instantly, as it well should be.
That said, for now, let me just list off a handful
who came without so much as a thought:
Tracey Ullman
Kathy Bates
Laura Linney
Frances McDormand
Sade
And this is in the context of, if they wanted
to be / or / were paid to be for a certain thing.
Whether introverted or not, these five have
a magic which draws you in.
Hillary Clinton has "it". So does Nancy Pelosi.
Yes, Ellen and Rosie too, if they wanted.
Remember Johnny Carson? He was perhaps
the ultimate example of someone with sheer
command, yet, he was an introvert, no less
than say, Bob Newhart.
Tina Turner has all kinds of charisma.
Jane Fonda, Goldie Hawn, and Sally Field,
anyone?
It just goes on. Arhhhh, I'm gonna club
myself for leaving off fifty I'll think of later.
