You could still be nice to people...but you were forbidden to provide them help?

I guess that depends on what you mean by help. Does making food for my husband qualify as "help" and would that mean each person could cook only for themself? Or does it mean giving money, stopping to open the door for someone, giving up your seat on a bus to an elderly person? If you were not allowed to help in these ways being nice to people would be empty, nothing more than smiling and nice empty words.
If I was not allowed to be genuinely nice and helpful to people and no one else was either, then I would probably shun their society altogether. People would have become entirely selfish, dangerous and predatory. I would seek the company only of animals.

I would retire much earlier! lol I don't think this criteria is too heart breaking to make it unbearable. As long as I can remain a friend, be nice, positive, as long as my character and personality are still allowed to function within norms! In fact this may be an eye opening experience??? How many people enjoy your friendship even though you can offer no substantial help? Are you being used, or is this a real valid relationship? Then again, it is my nature to offer help. Anything that bucks this nature will eventually create dissension.

It would end in one of two ways. I would wither much like the trees & flowers if not allowed to give their fruit, or my ocd would redirect itself & I would drive myself nuts looking for a loophole, which btw, being driven nuts for me is not a long haul, just a short putt. Thanks, interesting Q.

that would be a weird hypothetic situation, hard to believe that that would become possible. c'mon, let's think....help should be outlawed??? hmmm this is also hard to imagine, but probably I would think out a solution for those i care about, and they need it. LUCKY3, what were you thinking?

get down to the root of it, on why i am forbidded then work things out. being forbidded to do somethings you want to do is like being ripped off of your freedom and rights. and that i wont allow to happen.

I might desire to be waiting to absolutely love somebody, to absolutely have faith somebody and to be waiting to furnish them each and every little thing without regrets. Then I even have completely enjoyed them and permit them to absolutely love me. the main to that nonetheless is to absolutely love your self first.
