You would find it a difficult thing to accomplish.

Major publishers do not publish volumes of poetry or short stories. There is very little money in it for them. There is far more money in high body count James Patterson novels than in volumes of poetry.

What you would have to do is purchase a copy of Writers Market and read it cover to cover. Search for small "literary publishers" who do publish such volumes. You will not find many. but there are some.

Be very careful. Stay away from any and all self publishers. They are a literary black hole. They will only end up costing you a great deal of money and you will sell very few books. Also avoid poetry.com - a well known scam.

Before you contact anyone, go to Absolute Write Water Cooler Bewares and Background Checks forum, Preditiors and Editors, Anne Crispin's site, Writers Beware, Writers Wall and several other sites that warn authors against publishers who are not legitimate. Google the name of the publisher. Check for lawsuits etc. Learn to advocate for yourself. Remember as a child, your parents will have to be involved. They will have to sign any papers and contracts for you and make arrangements for your royalties.

You can also go to my profile. You will find I have starred many Q and A regarding writing and publishing that will help you. Read through hem and and choose some that will help. Print them out and study them. There are many professional authors here offering assistance. Listen to them. They have been there before.

Good luck to you.

yeah. add a few commas and spell check some words. perhaps it will be acceptable. But hey you're 13.You just keep working with it, send it in and hop for the best . if not. still cool. try aging. ask for advice. so go for it. you'll never know unless you take that chance. I'm 16 and i write poetry. about the streets and love and life. people say my poems are great but i don't know how or where to publish them.just try your luck.

I think Persiphone has given you great advice.
The poem you quote is reminiscent of some of the imagists. That's pretty high praise.
On the other hand, you should try to spell every word correctly.
When you read Writer's Market, you might think about submitting some of your poems to periodicals.
