I am gay myself to start off, but not an stereotipical gay.. So, I have two lectures with this guy. In my Chem class, I sit in the front row and he sits close to me. In my other lecture he sits farther away, but introduced himself to me the second day. He has talked to me since then. He attracts me very much, by the way.

There's no way to know based on the information you gave us.
I'm gay, too. But at 53 years, I know that the human need for companionship is very strong. You have to rule out that a) he just wants a study buddy, b) he wants to be a friend, c) he's lonely because he's in school and possibly away from home for the first time, d) he thinks you're a good student and therefore should stay nearby as he tackles college level chemistry, and e) he thinks you're a knock out.
Remember....you're not a "stereotypical gay." Therefore, he may not know that you're gay.
I hope it works out. Believe it or not, it's just as good to have a friend, as it is to have a boyfriend:-)

He may not know that you are gay. Sounds like you noticed him before he noticed you. Start talking with him more and see if he wants to study with you. Get a better feel for the vibes he is sending you. If you are not sure then ask him if he has had a gay relationship or if he is interested in one. Good Luck I hope it works out for you.

I understand your problem here. So you don't set off many gay-dars? You could start by bringing something gay up... Like mentioning some show or famous person you like who is gay. Or if there is someone you both know that is gay- or bring up politics and gay rights etc.- and test the waters to see what he says or how he reacts.

I'd appear at him and say, "I suppose you are homosexual." :) Then ask him out in the event you wish to and spot if he excepts. If he will get all offened or takes a swing at you.... then he is both instantly or relatively does not wish to head out with you. : D lol Just kidding. But I'd say he is homosexual simply by his reaction. he would as good simply stated, "Well, duh."

Why do you think he's gay? Because he talked to you? OR because you are attracted to him.
