I have an Athlon 64 X2 (W) 3800+ 2.0 GHz, and im thinking about getting this card XFX GeForce 8600 GT XXX Video Card 256MB DDR3, SLI Ready, PCI Express, (Dual Link) Dual DVI, HDTV, Video Card is this card compatible with my system, is it any good i want it for gaming but im not that into it so i dont think i need to spend a lot of money, and finally do i need to buy a new power source for it?

That mainstream DX10 card is compatible with your PC. It will run with most existing power supplies as long as you have at least 18 amps on the +12V rail.
If you want a cheaper DX10 card, you could consider the 8400GS, 8500GT or the ATI HD2400 Pro/XT. They may not be very good in games but they have good HD video capability.
