Definitely through sensory deprivation. The same thing applies when you're blowdrying your hair or mowing the lawn and you hear somebody call your name.

I try very hard not to have any drama or chaos in my life but when it is, I try to take my mind to a place that's peaceful so that I can enjoy the silence, it helps me to gather the strength needed to deal with the chaos!!
