Never let them see that you care, or that they made you mad. Act like you dont even know their name, and treat any thing they say to you as a silly little triviality that is absolutley meaningless to you.

The very best revenge is forgiveness! It's radical, but true.

When you forgive them your life heals and you get free from their malice or evil behavior.

When you forgive them, if they ever look back to see what happened, they experience either guilt for their wrongdoing or they experience amazement at your character and awareness of their poor character.

Forgiveness is the opposite of the way most people work in this world, but it works amazingly well.

I have done this on some devastating experiences and I feel so free, the pain went away and that person has no hold on me. I'm not saying it is easy to forgive, just that it has the best outcome. I needed some help to work through the pain and then I chose to forgive.

The worst thing about revenge is that you become obsessed with the person who hurt you and the person has gone on and isn't even thinking about you......so the hurt just keeps going on.

Forgiveness doesn't mean you trust them or want to let them close enough to stab you again. It just means you evict them from the space in your head where they have been squatting!

Move on, there's so much else to do in this life, look forward and up and out!!! All the best to you!

revenge is a waste of energy much better using that on energy on advancing you're own life. Revenge just shows the other person that they have got to you in short in the long run you're the loser all round. Move on don't let it eat you up I'm sure the person in question isn't losing any sleep.

Good question! I always feel that revenge is necessary because when someone slights me, I didn't do anything to deserve it. I was just sitting about, minding my own business, and then they decide that they want to bring difficulty upon me... I was an innocent bystander!

So, revenge is absolutely necessary. I mean, the victim did nothing, and someone with no self-control decides to hurt them. There is no way for the victimizer to get away with it, or there shouldn't be, anyway.

Revenge? It's elusive. My enemies have ruined my life, and continue to laugh and live with luck and happiness, while I sit in darkness and despair. This has been the routine of my entire life. I often think we Asians are cursed, or that our appearance makes people not care about us. I mean, if I see someone sitting in the rain on the side of the road, begging for money, I naturally feel sorry for them. I think that we Asians, because of our appearance, don't garner such compassion or sympathy, and therefore people are malicious more easily toward us. Even our own. China, and all the human rights violations. Executions for petty theft and then harvesting their organs, or even the Khmer Rouge massacres in Cambodia.

I've found that the people I've associated with have easily left me behind if one person decides they don't like me. It's very scary that such injustice occurs. There is no one to turn to but yourself. Let your anger be your guide. That's how you get revenge.

Don't let someone slight you!!!! If you did nothing to merit trouble, but they bring it upon you because they have the power to, hurt you, and then walk off laughing with their friends, they do not deserve to continue like that. Just make sure you get them back in such a way that they can't get you back. They started it, and you get the last word for the unmerited attack on you.

Those who seek revenge are digging 2 graves.
Learn from your experience, and save your effort and emotions for your own self-esteem---don't waste them on another person.

You don't. You try to let it go. Getting revenge allows the other person to continue to hurt you because you are wasting your time and energy on them. Don't allow it anymore.
