Not nearly as much as your right to operate an automobile. Wanna give THAT up, commie?

This is a good question. I have never carried a gun, nor do I ever intend to. We do not have guns in our house. However, the crime rate in our city has increased ten-fold since the restriction on carrying guns has been lifted. Even innocent children have been killed by drive-by gang shootings, and boys as young as 14 have been arrested for homicide with guns. There was once a law that prohibited possession of firearms to those who were convicted felons. Now it is possible for anyone, even irresponsible people and domestic violence offenders and child molesters to freely carry guns. Needless deaths? You bet there have been, and I am furious about it.

Absolutely. There are many responsible people that have guns. The problem is that the country is flooded with guns that makes it so easy for people to get as many as they like illegally.
I personally do not own a gun, or intend on buying one.
Don't expect any changes, the ARA is a powerful lobbying group in Washington.

It all depends upon where you carry it. If someone's trying to kill you, and you defend yourself, that would be a needless death because if you weren't attacked, no one would have died.

Please, what do you want me to say? I'm surprised WalMart doesn't have gun detectors at the door.

No, criminals , who don't care what the laws are, lead to needless deaths. I want to be able to protect myself and my family.

Not my individual right. I am a responsible legal gun carrier.I only use it when me personally, or my family is in extreme ,immediate danger. There's no turning back once your gun is drawn.
