When driving past a car pulled to the side of the road by a Cop - do you honk and wave?

Oh they'll pull you over alright. I think it strongly depends on what you look like, at least in L.A. Although I've honked my horn at a few cop cars, I've never been pulled over. I had to! The cop was sitting in a right turn only lane while the light was green for him to go and he had the right away with no pedestrians! I honked twice and he looked up in the rear view, he seemed surprised that someone would actually blow at a cop. Oh well.

Unfortunately I feel like I'm in a group of Mustangs in a wild horse roundup, because at the sight of a police car, the truckers and others, speed up--10-15 mph. faster while he's sitting still, so they can keep on going at 80-85, instead of the posted 70mph.
