put in the y=mx+b form
a) y=5/2x-3/2 and b) y=11/5x+3/5
The slope of a is 5/2 and of b it's 11/5
Which is bigger. a) has the bigger slope

u rearrange the equations into slope-y intercept form
(y = mx+b) -> the m term will give you the slope

a) 2y = 5x
y = 5x/2
so the m term is 5/2 in this case, so the slope is 5/2

b) 5y = 11x +3
y = 11x/5 + 3/5
the m term is 11/5, so slope is 11/5

5/2 is greater than 11/5, so the line for equation a) has the greater slope

a.2y=5x-3 --> y = 5x/2 -3/2 --> slope = 2.5
b.5y=11x+3 --> y = 11x/5 +3/5 --> slope = 2.2
So a has the larger slope
