If you are in a fancy person's house then there would most likely be a bottle opener. But I've seen my husband stand at the counter in our kitchen, place the bottle top right on the edge and smack his hand right on the edge of it as he was pulling the bottle away.
my husband being a redneck country boy, he'd still do it in a fancy person's house.
I used this example because I don't drink.

Hmm, no bottle opener. For my house that would be the end of the world. But I suppose I would find someone that can open it without an opener, or a table or something.

Gee...our bottles of Bud have twist-off caps...even Corona's have twish-off.
They don't ALWAYS twist off, though, but my daughter's Swiss Army knife has some sort of attachment that works!!!
In a fancy person's home, the bottles are opened when we receive them. LOL!!!!!

Try your belt buckle! They don't only keep your pants up!
(People sometimes will run out and get a can opener)

Why would you not have an opener? That should be one of the necessities of any home!

You open it with your teeth, at least this girl I used to know did that. And once she chipped her front tooth... oh, the foolishness.
