Thoughts are distorted to the degree that perception is distorted, which is distorted to the degree that one's conditioned ego beliefs are distorted.

The only certain way out of misperception and distorted thinking is the complete elimination of all embedded beliefs. (theology tried to accomplish this through the idea of one god) Being wholly aware/awake in the present is the only state conducive to knowledge, discernment and clarity of perception and thought (enlightenment/unity consciousness).

Well, the thought essence is not distorted, rather not every thought has the same source. What I said could mean many things and I could write on and on about it, however I will refer to one aspect of what I mean. In your mind you are fragmented, that is your organic consciousness, or could even be called the counterfeit self.

IMO when you perceive something or engage something these aspects of this fragmentation are invoked to the degree that it can be said that you are never the same person more than twice a day, given how much you engage certain external stimulus. When these aspects are invoked they react to what they have been set to given the experience which manifest them as conditioning. So your thinking is a reaction to the division that your mind is in. A thought that isn't distorted would be the energy of the thought-essence evolving through the polarities of mind. Imo ones thoughts will be distorted in regards to their mind which is in dis-ease. All thoughts most evolve through the alpha to omega in mind, for it to be a complete thing. Thought is distorted by the distortion of your polarities of mind that are divided within themselves, with many sub-personalities or aspects. The energy itself is not distorted, but the mind. But it still goes to same, most people have never had an true thought. Thought is the movement of energy through the polarities mind.

All thoughts are fluid, so yeah! My thoughts are easy to change direction, to change frequency, to change intensity. I mean if light can be distorted, why not the light bulb above your head? Oddly enough heat seems to distort both very well. A hot head makes a decision that they would alway change when they cool off. I seldom like a decision made in anger.

Since human views of reality are distorted, and thoughts are produced by humans, thus all thoughts are distorted.

No. To believe that "all" thoughts are distorted is an illogical assumption. (I'm not saying you believe this, it's just your question.)
There are certainly people who have the wisdom, objectivity, & true understanding of themselves who never have distorted thoughts.
There are people who perceive the thoughts of others' to be distorted, because they disagree with their own.
There are people whose irrational thoughts are so distorted as to be bizarre. (Paranoids, psychopaths, psychotics, sociopaths etc.)
Our thoughts may "shift" a bit with our moods, or temporary perceptions, but that is not "distortion."

I have so many epiphanies that I wouldn't be surprised to discover that Epiphany is the name of my soul. Confusion steals my thoughts, endless chatter jumbles my thoughts, drugs or alcohol distort them. Smoking just a couple of puffs actually brings crystal clarity to them.My ancestors were wise not to make or use alcohol.
