I think Eminem is great. His rap is not just a meaningless chant like so many, he sings about todays issues and issues in his life. There is often a musical element to his records, his lyrics are clever rather than a string of words and his records are entertaining. I think he is talented to the point of being gifted where rap is concerned.
My mother hates him, she doesn't undersatand where he is coming from, she doesn't like the language he uses and he is not tuneful enough for her - But then she is 84!

I think he is good at what he does. I am not a fan of rap, generally, but I can listen to him.
Parents see children acting out, or doing bad things, and blame these actions on the media. Look at how many people blamed Columbine on Marilyn Manson. If you see him speak, he is actually very intelligent. It is parents' jobs to explain to their kids the difference between reality and fiction. They should be taking responcibility and explaining consequences, right and wrong, clarrifying song lyrics and movie plots which may skew kids' view on reality. Once they take responsibility there will be no reason to blame the media and we can go back to blaming the person who commited the action instead.

i think m&m is gifted and a vey talented rapper but for me i have no respect for him at all.he carries alot of hate in his heart for his mother even in his songs he totally accuses his mom for everything wrong in his life in a way.i'm not saying that she was the best mom but i think that he should try and let go of that hatred he has.when it comes down to it what i'm trying to say is he doesen't use his talent for good{bad language} and if he continiues with that then the talent he has is total waste on him and should have been given to someone else.p.s. my mom has no clue who m&m is.

Now, I normally despise rap...but eminem is...different, I guess you'd say.
He's GREAT!

okay, I like him becuase..it's just different. It's not like Nelly or whatever. It's....Slim Shady! I don't know the qualities of a "good rapper" but, you know, I'd say he is one. And parents don't like what he raps about.

Where has he been? I like him, although he's not for younger kids. His lyrics are a bit on the violent and hateful side so therefore not for kids I'd say.
