My wife bought a Ball jar filled with potporri(spell) The lid was a sort of wire mesh(rounded) and they added a nice ribbon around it.I have some good jars in a box and would like to try a do like the kind my wife bought,maybe give them out as gifts.Can anyone tell me where I can buy such type lids? THANKS!

The lids are NOT Ball brand these were something different

Sounds like a regular canning jar lid without the
middle insert. You can buy canning jar lids and
substitute the middle with some wire mesh.
Usually sold in grocery stores.

Ball (mason) jars should have the screw-rings and the lids... You should be able to replace the flat-lid with some mesh you buy and cut yourself.

A lot of times people just take a decorative material and place it over the ball lids and seal with the ring and tie with ribbon or hot glue material to it.
