I have been lucky enough to develop a good wrist/snap shot, but don't neglect the backhand. That's why I go with a twig that doesn't have excessive curve (Modano or Iginla) .. nothing extravagent (Yzerman or Sakic) slap shots are predictable and often miss the net, whereas a well placed wrist shot or backhand might fool us. Having played "the game" for close to 20 years it doesn't matter, but black tape does distract goalies a tad. With white tape it's easier to spot the puck on y'all's sticks.

If you have to ask?
Wrist shot, fast release, accurate.
Slap shots are a waste of time, no accuracy, watch a game and see how many slap shots actually hit the net area.

Definitely the wrist shot because it's easiest to shoot and it's accurate and fast.

wrist shot because it is the most accurate, and it goes about the same speed as a slap shot

snapper...quickest release, and the hardest for goalies to handle because of that.

For hockey players like you, do not shoot! Make a nice pass please cuz I know you are a very good playmaker. What a waste if you abandon your amazing playmaking skill and shoot.
