The problem started when Dan Rather and other Liberal Media Queens declared the Florida polls closed (a "mix-up" supposedly caused by the fact that the panhandle is in the Central Time Zone and NOT the Eastern Time Zone as is the case with the rest of Florida). I claim foul; that time zone division has been that way all my life and they did that ONLY for Bush, no one else. Of course the Liberals knew that Pensacola has a lot of active military and retirees and thus vote Republican more often than not, so they wanted to claim a win for Al Gore and the Liberals and Democrats.
What all those angry, self-righteous Liberals so conveniently forget is that Clinton was a minority President, not once, but twice (meaning that fewer people voted for him than for his oponent. Bush did have the majority; a narrow one, but a majority. He was NOT a minority president as was his predecessor.

Oh, you mean when Gore tried to steal the election and got caught ?
Where Bush had to sue 11 heavily democratic counties in FL, just to get the military absentee ballots counted, after the Gore campaign, send all their campaign workers a pamphlet on how to stop military absentee ballots from being counted.
Or how Gore, tried to just get the 4 heavily democratic counties recounted, and not the whole state .
Yes that was quite a scandle, a former Vice President, trying to steal a presidential election.
Thank goodness, the USSC say thru that scam, and slapped Gore down.

One thing that happen in Florida was a lot of stupid people just didn't have the smarts to use a voting machine to start with and then didn't vote the way the democrats wanted them to so the liberals started crying again as usual.

The liberals who are continually harping about the Constitution never read it and they think that Manbearpig Gore should have been in the White House. The reason that the President is elected by the Electoral College rather than popular votes is to prevent the dense population areas (the liberal East Coast and the equally liberal West Coast) from dominating every election. Fatso won the popular vote but not the electoral vote so fatso lost. Bottom line is, there were recounts and recounts and lawsuits and lawsuits, but Gore still lost, and the libs have never forgiven Bush for beating him.

Oh please. The Democrats were just butt hurt that they lost. They only called for a recount in the highly Democratic counties in Florida.I didn't hear then demanding a recount in Pensacola. Not only that most of the over seas ballots were thrown out,and the military prodomanantly vote Republican. That's proof that the Democrats attempted to rig the election at the last minute and yet Bush still won. They'll never get over it.

I find it funny that liberals are still harping on Bush "stealing" the election.
Heck, even CNN admitted long ago that he never stole anything.
