Yes, drinking a vampire's blood could change you but the vampire will also have to bite you and drink your blood.
Drinking a humans blood will not make you a vampire but you could catch a blood disease. Not suggested either!
Odd enough, I just finished watching The Lost Boys.
In the movie, Micheal drank the Master Vampire's Blood.
That's not a good thing. I suggested when someone offers you a bottle to drink and somebody tells you it's blood, don't drink it!! Walk away!

Vampires are a myth dreamed up by colonialists to make people afraid of those they considered to be strange.
The idea is that these strange people will sneak into your "pure" blood stream and contaminate it. They speak a strange language and behave in incomprehensible ways.
The true colonialist will have to either conquer, or elimate them, and will have the support of fearful people to do so.
I like Vampire movies too, and Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula. The Lost Boys is a great film, but doesn't address the idea of people's fear and hatred of whatever is strange and threatening to them.

Can drinking someones blood turn you into a vampire? Ask some of the thousands of people that now have hepatitis or aids because they thought they were a vampire and tried it.
There are no vampires, werewolves, aliens at area 51, dragons, unicorns...etc.

In some vampire lore, a specific microbe/germ in a vampire saliva infects the victim. The person then becomes a vampire unless exsanguinated by the vampire in which case the victim dies, still normal.

Vampires and werewolves are not real, they are part of ancient superstition and folklore.
Drinking someone's blood will probably only make you vomit and give you a nasty blood disease like HIV. Avoid.

that was an excellent movie. but possibility of becoming a vampier is unrealistic, the human body can not digest blood, therefore you will never get nurishment from blood.
