I had to take a month off from taking birth control pills because I ran out and wasn't able to get more until later. Normally I'm a Sunday start and would get my period on the Wednesday of my "off" week which started the previous Sunday and then I would start a new pack on the following Sunday. My period isn't completely done when I start a new pack. It normally drifts off on the Monday and is completely gone by the end of Tuesday. With stopping the pills for a month my period was two days late, starting on Friday. My question is (finally, haha) should I still start a new pack on Sunday or should I perhaps wait until Tuesday?

Go ahead and start on Sunday. Since you are used to being a Sunday starter, it will be much easier than starting on another day of the week.

Your body will do what you tell it to. By taking an active pill, you tell it that it's not period time, and it should stop in the first couple of days.

Go ahead and start the pill on Sunday as directed.

Just go ahead and start it on Sunday. It will be fine. Your period may be shorter than normal, but it won't cause a problem in the long run.

When I'm starting again after a rest, I start the day after I stop my period, that's what I always heard was best.
