Control groups are substrates or reactants that serve as a standard or a "control" value to compare other measurements and reactants.

Rule of thumb:
Anything that ends with the suffix "ase" is usually a enzyme. In this case, your enzyme is peroxidase.

Another word for substrate is reactant. You substrate here is hydrogen peroxide(H202).

Since I did this project already, I know the product is water and oxygen gas. Remember?

H202 => H20 + 02(gas)

You can balance the equation by multiply both sides by 2. But the idea is , is to get the same elements in both sides of the equation.
