Not likely by the 5 socialist voters . Gore got bashed for being an opportunist , who lied ; used the names of scientists that he consulted - but when they disagreed with his nonsense - Gorp failed to mention they disagreed with him . For that he's being sued . Days ago - a British court ruled that "Inconvenient Truth" is banned from schools without a warning disclaimer - due to 11 errors in Gores untruth . So far-that makes much of his whole "theory" more ridiculous by the day . Rush Limbaugh was nominated . Had he won-he would have given it to the real peace promoters : our Troops . ALGORE promotes himself ..he even lobbied for his prize .

Aren't you the same person that asked this "question" yesterday, and evidently with the same political agenda? I saw no evidence whatever in the answers that there was any "bashing" of Al Gore. And your statement that there will never be a Republican nominated is proven by history to be totally false.

We bash the prize - it's meaningless when they give it to Arafat, Menchu and Gore. Who wants a Nobel Prize when you can get a really cool toy out of a box of Kraker Jacks?

Gore's Nobel prize should have been in literature....fiction that is.
I still can't figure out how a book about an overly exaggerated claim of global warming...has anything to do with peace in the first place.

I don't think the Nobel Committee looks at political affiliation.

Are you saying all Nobel Peace prize winners are Liberal? I am sure there are plenty of winners with Conservative views.

These responses are horrible and invalidating. Is not anti-American to reject someone based on their viewpoint. It's also an extension of the current anti-intellectual bent in America.
Note to RLP, the nomination process is not made public for 50 years. We don't know if Rush was officially nominated.
