Do they become the nice guys everyone rejects.

It depends, if there are people like you out there who think they are losers and continue to call them that, then they may not go far because they have no self esteem.

Then again, they may overcome the negativity as they grow older and realize that they are not the losers, it's the other people call them that who are the losers.

People who were "losers" in high school are usually too focused on their school work and trying to make a better living that they don't care, not that it is a bad thing. I mean, if you have no friends, then your life has to have a real potential. They can be nice people, because they know what it is like to be rejected, and don't want to be that way to anyone. However, they can be mean, too. Sometimes when people are treated badly, they want to get revenge over those people, and treat them badly, too. So, I guess a large majority of these so called "losers" will become nice people that everyone rejects. I know it is a real shame, but that's the way it is.

I was not the popular guy in high school, and neither was my twin. My twin got the most improved since high school award.
