Why are they not smart enough to know that we need their help, oh wait could it be that they do know and want to cause failure in Iraq, could it possibly be nothinhg but political posturing by the Democrats that will cause the death of more American Military?

Anyone who thinks is not surprised at all. Where do foreigners get their impressions of America? Do you think it's from coming here and getting to know regular Americans? Of course not. They have but once source of information about Americans and what our country is doing - the US media. It doesn't take a great intellect to connect the dots. What is the political persuasion of 98% of the American media? Is the news driven by facts or by a political agenda? Is it by coincidence that the one balanced news network, which incidentally is the most popular in the US, is not carried in foreign countries, except on the internet?

Not that I'm a Democrat, but our 'allies' don't have to be alienated to hate the USA. Open your eyes, Americans.

Nope. To our allies they are just showing how weak the US is in its leadership and how easy it will be to work us over once a Democrat is president.

doesn't surprise me. they'll do anything if they think it will help them politically. for a party that so frequently accused bush of alienating our allies, now the dems seem proud to be doing the same.
