Semper Fi Reborn

in brightest day,
or darkest night,
he is alway there,
in the fight for right.
with pen in hand,
and a cheerful thought,
his lines are glib,
and quite a sight,
when he come to town,
with a flourish and smile,
he leave a warm spot,
in everyones heart.
so cheer up my friends,
and don;t be forlorn,
for he will lift up a standard,
from which we can learn.
and bring cheer to all,
and brighten the day,
with a poem for his friends,
in his encouraging way.
He left for a while, not by his choice.
and had to return,
with a cheer from us all,
a great friend to all.

My guess....knowing him personally and all.......he would be touched beyond words, beyond thought, beyond tears, but not beyond appreciation for all of you who are beloved in the eyes of God and this mere man called Semper Fi Reborn.
